This guide explains how to purchase a phone number inside the Dapta platform and link it to one of your Voice Agents.

Once connected, whenever someone calls that phone number, your assigned agent will automatically answer the call.

### What Buying a Phone Number Allows You To Do

When you purchase a phone number inside Dapta:

* The number becomes part of your account
* You can assign it to a Voice Agent
* When someone calls that number, the assigned agent answers
* The number can be used for both voice calls and SMS

### Step 1: Navigate to Phone Numbers

1. Go to **Voice Agents**
2. Click on **Phone Numbers**
3. Click on **Buy Phone Number**

You will be redirected to the phone number marketplace.

### Step 2: Choose a Phone Number

You will see a list of available phone numbers.

Currently:

* All available numbers are based in the **United States**
* You can search by:
  * City
  * Area code
  * Specific digits

If you are outside the US (for example, in Latin America), you can contact **Customer Support** to request assistance with international number setup.
