Billing, Payments and Invoices
Where to see your next charge and credit balance, change your card, download invoices, fix billing details, buy credits and turn on auto-recharge.
Your subscription is charged automatically to the card on file on your billing date. Everything about those payments is in Billing & Plans: click your profile at the bottom-left corner of the app and choose Billing, or open app.dapta.ai/billing.
How do I download an invoice or change my payment method?
Open Billing & Plans and go to Invoices: every charge is listed with its date, status and amount, and the download icon under Actions saves the PDF. To change your card or the company details printed on invoices, click Manage billing on that tab. To swap the card only, use Change Method in the Billing tab.
The Billing tab
The first tab is your account at a glance:
Current Plan: the plan you are on.
Payment: the amount and date of your next charge.
Credits left: your balance next to the monthly allowance of your plan.
Payment Method: the card on file. Click Change Method to replace it.
Get More Credits: buy extra credits without changing plan.
Account consumption: credits used in the current billing period, with a chart of consumption by workspace.
The date range shown next to the consumption chart is your billing period. Credits renew on the first day of that range.
Invoices
The Invoices tab lists every subscription payment and credit recharge with its Date, Invoice number, Description, Status and Amount. Use the icon under Actions to download the PDF for your accounting team.
To change the name, address or tax ID that appear on your invoices, click Manage billing. It opens the secure billing portal of Dapta's payment provider, where you can also update your card or add a new one and see your payment history.
Buying extra credits
You can add credits at any time without changing plan. Click Get More Credits in the Billing tab or Buy More Credits in the Plans tab, choose the amount and pay with your card.
Credits are sold in multiples of 1,000 credits (US$1).
Purchased credits do not expire while your subscription is active. They accumulate on top of your monthly allowance, so what you do not use this month is still there next month.
When your balance reaches 0, calls, messages and Dapti stop until credits are added. There are no overage charges.
Buying credits is not the same as paying for a plan. If you meant to subscribe and bought credits instead, contact Support the same day and they will apply the amount to your plan.
Auto-recharge
Open the Auto-recharge Credits tab and switch it on so your agents never stop because the balance hit zero.
When balance drops to 20,000 credits, Dapta adds the Recharge Amount you choose (the default is US$20, which is 20,000 credits).
Budget Limit caps how much auto-recharge can spend per month. Leave it empty for no limit.
Click Save changes. Every recharge appears in Invoices, and you can change the amount or turn auto-recharge off at any time.
Usage Details
The Usage Details tab lists every charge in the selected period with its Name, Type and Credits, so you can see which agent, flow, phone number or channel spent what. Filter by type or change the date range to review an earlier period.
Referral code
If another Dapta customer referred you, enter their code under Enter your referral code in the Billing tab and click Redeem code before your first payment. You receive 100,000 bonus credits on your first paid month.
ReferalsFailed payments and past-due accounts
If the charge on your billing date fails, your subscription is marked past due and the app is blocked behind a payment screen, even if you still have credits. The card is retried automatically: a couple of times within minutes, again the next day, and then every three to four days.
To fix it, go to Billing & Plans → Billing → Change Method. It takes you to the secure payment page where you update the card; the pending invoice is charged on the next retry and access is restored. If the card is fine but the charge keeps failing, ask your bank whether it is blocking international online payments, then contact Support.
Changing who owns or pays for the account
The user who created the account is its owner and the one whose card is billed. There is no self-service option to transfer ownership or move a subscription to another account. Contact Support with the email of the current owner and the email of the new one; the team makes the change for you.
To add or remove people who use the platform, you do not need to touch billing: see Add team members.
Paying by invoice or bank transfer
Self-service plans are paid by card. Enterprise agreements, and in some cases Prime, can be invoiced and paid by bank transfer. Talk to Sales from the Plans tab to set this up.
