Step 1: Create an account in daptatech.com

To begin, create your account in https://app.daptatech.com/register

After creating your account, the system will ask you to schedule an onboarding call. This is important.

We're here to solve your integration problems. To do so, we have a team of experts that can help you setup the platform and solve any issue that may arise.

Step 2: Prepare your information

Our onboarding team will help you in setting up Dapta. To make this an easy process, you should have the following items on hand for our onboarding call:

Prepare your use case:

• What is the business purpose you want to accomplish with the use case? For example:

  • Creating an API to access customer information that is stored across a database and some flat files.

• What is the main data source required for the use case? For example:

  • A SOAP web service that returns customer data.

  • Two postresql databases with transaction information.

  • Three third party REST APIs with data from our customers

  • A .txt flat file in an FTP server

• Prepare the credentials for your main data source(s). You need to have the host address, usernames, passwords and whatever access information is required to test the connection.

  • In our onboarding meeting we will setup the data source connection and perform some tests

  • If we're connecting to a third party API please have the documentation and API keys ready, to speed implementation

• Whitelist our IP address. We'll provide you with our static IP address so you can enable access to your data source.

• It's helpful if you have your database schema in case we need to understand a data structure

Step 3: Onboarding

Our onboarding process starts with creating the account and preparing necessary information to setup your use case. Then we'll have the following activities:

Onboarding call

In this call our team will ask questions about the use case and we'll guide you through the initial setup of your data sources and APIs.

After the call if there's setup work needed to be done, we'll help you and guide you through the process.

Checkpoints

We'll be checking in to see how your experience with Dapta has been. If there's any way we can help, we'll be happy to do it in these checkpoints.

Step 4: Self Onboarding

After setting up your first use case we have some challenges for you to complete. Each challenge will reward you with Dapta Credits that you can use to pay your monthly subscription and consumption.

You'll earn credits by performing activities like:

• Creating new APIs

• Connecting new data sources

• Adding team members
