# Connecting a Database hosted in AWS

In Dapta you can add your data sources to create APIs from them, and build your own business logic on top. Here's a quick video on how to create a PostgreSQL connection hosted in AWS.

When you connect a data source in Dapta, we're not duplicating your data or creating a cache, we're just a tunnel for you to create API endpoints with custom logic.
